Partnerships with Government Agencies
We work with different District Administrations across Tamilnadu supporting with district/ block level assessment, analysis, recommendations for improvement and support with setting up comprehensive child safety and well-being, community best practices and gender inclusive policies in different departments and spaces.
We work with Child Welfare, Social Welfare, Education, Tribal Welfare and other departments to include gender equity and child safety and well-being at school level involving different stakeholders from parents to local officials and run as safe space clubs for college students and professional courses with an of creating sensitive professionals.
We have worked with the District Administrations of Kallakurichi, Kanyakumari, Chennai, Nagapattinam, Dindigul and Tiruvallur.

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao is a campaign of the Government of India that aims to generate awareness and improve the efficiency of welfare services intended for girls. It is a centrally sponsored scheme with 100% funding from the central government. It is a collaborative effort involving the Ministries of Women & Child Development, Health & Family Welfare, and Education. The scheme focuses on:
To prevent gender biased sex selective elimination
To ensure survival and Protection of the girl child
To ensure education and empowerment of girl child
The program is a joint effort by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Education.
In Tamilnadu, we have been implementing the schemes in partnering with Department of Social Welfare and Skill Training Office.
