Our internship program provides an exciting and challenging experience for individuals dedicated for the empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized and social justice in India. We offer a unique opportunity to actively participate in movements for positive social change and welcome people from all fields to contribute their expertise to our initiatives. Our interns and play an integral role in our dynamic team, and we deeply value their dedication, creativity, and contributions.
Our Internship Program
Any specific criteria?
As our primary work is committed to supporting children, women, individuals from dalit and disabled communities, priority consideration is given to applicants who have demonstrated a genuine interest in women empowerment, child safety, gender-based issues and a passion for interaction, learning, and voluntary work on relevant causes.
Duration of Internship
We have tailored internship program as part of academic requirements or personal interest for a period of 14 days, 21 days, 30 days, 45 days and 60 days
Who can intern?
We actively encourage students from social work, sociology, psychology, law, media, development studies and any background with passion and commitment
Roles & Responsibilities
Our interns will have the chance to build their capacity in various areas, including:
Designing Research based Innovative Implementations
Conduct our field programs for the community partners
Creating Resources and Arts based Classroom Activities
Experiential Learning based activities like Camping, Trekking,etc.
Networking with Government officials and stakeholders
Experience life changing moments with children
Support & Expenses
We regret that we are unable to offer financial compensation for internships at AWARE India Trust. However, we do provide travel reimbursements for activities related to the organization. Furthermore, subject to availability, we can offer food and accommodation upon written request during the internship period.
