SafeActivePeriods
SafeActivePeriods aims to address the lack of factually right, engaging and socially acceptable knowledge on menstruation.
We have been teaching all children and adults, irrespective of gender identity, about their body, and its emotional and physical needs without any shame, confusion or guilt. We aim to address issues of body shaming, impact period positivity, engage care and love towards one’s body, and focus a lot on safety too, especially of the ‘female body’. We question socio-cultural status quo and provide an answer around the following topics –
Health, Hygiene, Safety,
Menstrual and Vaginal Products – use, maintenance, & economical viability
Incorporating Traditional remedies and practices,
Environmental safety and pollution

School Positive Menstruality Program
Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM ) is an important component of SafeActivePeriods Mission.
As a new concept in schools, School Positive Menstruality Program offers various kinds of support to teachers to establish MHM programs and facilities to keep girls and female teachers in school. This program was designed to help teachers, school health and nutrition (SHN) coordinators, and other school personnel in Government schools to carry out MHM programs or activities in their school. It is organized into three sections:
Awareness
basic information about puberty, menstruation, and MHM

School Auditing
a checklist for schools to use to ensure that they have all the elements needed for a good MHM program
interactive games and activities that will engage students to learn about MHM including an activity that shows students how they can make their own pads or sanitary towels
Gamified Period Fest
